1. Enrollment
Enrollment at Ustaz Academy is semester-based. Students may enroll in one or more subjects based on availability and placement.
A placement assessment may be required before enrollment to determine the appropriate class level.
2. Tuition
Tuition is $199 per student, per subject, per month, unless otherwise agreed in writing by Ustaz Academy.
Examples:
- 1 Student × 1 Subject = $199/month
- 1 Student × 2 Subjects = $398/month
- 2 Students × 2 Subjects Each = $796/month
The $10 Trial Session reservation fee will be credited toward the student’s first tuition payment upon enrollment.
3. Prorated Tuition
Students who begin classes after the start of a billing month will be charged prorated tuition for the remainder of that month.
Beginning with the following billing cycle, the regular monthly tuition will apply.
4. Monthly Billing
After enrollment, tuition will be billed automatically on the 1st day of each month for the upcoming month’s classes.
Parents are responsible for ensuring that their payment information remains current and valid.
5. Refund Policy
The Trial Session reservation fee is non-refundable.
Parents may cancel enrollment and receive a tuition refund only if written notice is received at least seventy-two (72) hours before the student’s first scheduled class.
Once the student’s first class has started, no refunds will be issued under any circumstances.
6. Withdrawal Policy
Parents wishing to withdraw a student must submit written notice at least thirty (30) days before the next billing date, which is the 1st day of the month.
Examples:
- If the next billing date is September 1, the withdrawal request must be received no later than August 2.
- Requests received after that date will become effective for the following billing cycle.
Tuition remains due throughout the required notice period.
7. Attendance
Students are expected to attend classes regularly and arrive on time.
If a student is unable to attend a class, parents should notify Ustaz Academy as early as possible.
Missed classes due to student absence are not refundable, and make-up classes are not guaranteed.
If Ustaz Academy cancels a class, an appropriate make-up session or alternative arrangement will be provided.
8. Student Conduct
Students are expected to:
- Treat teachers and classmates with respect.
- Participate appropriately during online classes.
- Maintain a positive learning environment.
Repeated disruptive or inappropriate behavior may result in the suspension or termination of enrollment at the discretion of Ustaz Academy.
9. Parent Communication
Parents or legal guardians are responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date contact information.
Official communication regarding schedules, payments, student progress, announcements, and school updates may be sent by email, phone, text message, or other approved communication methods.
10. Technology Requirements
Families are responsible for providing:
- A reliable internet connection.
- A computer or tablet suitable for online learning.
- A quiet learning environment.
Technical issues on the student’s side do not qualify for tuition refunds or guaranteed make-up classes.
11. Privacy
Personal information collected during enrollment will be used solely for enrollment administration, payment processing, educational services, and communication with families.
Ustaz Academy does not sell or share personal information with third parties except as necessary to provide its educational services or as required by law.
12. Agreement
By checking the Enrollment Agreement checkbox and submitting the enrollment form, the parent or legal guardian confirms that they:
- Have provided information that is accurate and complete.
- Have read and understood these Enrollment Terms & Policies.
- Agree to the tuition, billing, refund, withdrawal, attendance, communication, and technology policies of Ustaz Academy.
13. Schedule Changes
Ustaz Academy reserves the right to adjust class schedules, teachers, class sizes, or student placement when reasonably necessary to maintain educational quality or accommodate enrollment changes.
Parents will be notified of any significant changes in advance whenever reasonably possible.
